Peow Studio EX.MAG #3 Dark Fantasy
The comics in Ex.Mag #3 pull inspiration from the Souls series, Berserk, Book of the New Sun, The Dark Crystal and other dark fantasy epics
A hot wind whips across tattered banners and hollowed skulls on an ancient battlefield. In the distance, a broken stone fortress stands out against a pale orange moon. You slowly make your way up to the rubbled structure, moving slowly to avoid traps or hidden enemies. You are far from the small bonfire you came across hours ago, and your heart is racing. In the remains of a central courtyard, you find a strange tome. It’s covered in dust and blood from who knows what or where. Carefully, you pick up the book and wipe away the debris. You can barely make out the title in the sickly moonlight, but you see the words. .
Printed with blood red and mud brown. Packed with an illustration section, and 8 new comics - including a stunning short from Linnea Sterte, fully in her element.
