All The Problems In This World is not your regular games and/or comic store! In fact we make the extra work that others don’t to get the titles that are often very hard to find (if at all) in Europe. Other stores can’t afford to do that, ATPITW’s goal is to do exactly that: import, baby!

About 50% of the RPG related titles we order through a distro located in Germany. About 50% of the comic books & graphic novels come from a distro in Belgium. When said distros don’t have a certain title in stock (which very often is the case) it’s impossible to get any estimate when the order will arrive in their warehouse. It can be weeks or months, depending on numerous factors, which are all understandable. Just imagine dealing with customs and freight forwarders; shipments getting lost or damaged en route to the container, etc. on a daily basis, in big scale. And then having dozens of clients/retailers, who receive dozens of emails from their customers themselves, who are asking when which title will arrive, report damaged copies, etc. You get it. They would need a full time employee only doing that kind of communication. Or… you wait, and once the stars align, the gate opens. A special moment! Full of excitement, adrenaline and cosmic beauty, and your friendly neighbourhood store will stand there with arms wide open. Patiently picking the exotic plums to list them in the online store, and tell you about it in the weekly newsletter, but behold! No reservations. - I’ll get into that in the FAQ.

The other 50% coming from small press publishers and self-publishing artists & authors are usually easy to estimate, but sometimes it takes longer here, too, because many of the creative cranberry types of characters have a day time job! Because usually art doesn’t pay electricity bills nor tofu, and on top of that they do what they do driven by passion and inspiration (which you can’t buy in a pharmacy with money you earned as a healthcare assistant - it’s precious!), and not because some client slaps you with a deadline. So the artist’s approach usually is: to avoid stress! Which means things can take a little longer, which btw. is exactly what we all need! Take your time to do the things really important to you. Determined and focused, and learn to appreciate anticipating the arrival of a rare imported comic book, roleplaying game or physical format audio record.
