Jarno Latva-Nikkola VARM MJÖLK (ENG)
A collection of paintings by this Finnish artist
Varm Mjölk is sort of a follow-up to the screen printed booklet Cold Sweat that Le Dernier Cri published back in 2013. Overlap with that one is zero, but it's the same kind of material: colorful, psychedelic pictures of Finns, Finnish tropes, Finnish nature going berzerk. "You would not like to let them into your house, but they are a pleasure to look at" - from the afterword by Anna Haifisch. Very little text otherwise and it has like one single page of actual comics.
