Pilgrims Of The Murk Dome is a dark fantasy, fiction-first RPG, with art by Plastiboo and Strange House, using the Shadow Forge System (an evolution of the Forged In The Dark system). The game is set in a macabre and apocalyptic Middle Ages, where the world has been devastated by a supernatural cataclysm known as the Coming of the Murk Domes, pulsating pockets of nightmare that serve as portals to the horrors of the dream world.

The Wakelands represent the last bastions of humanity, decimated by the plague of the Domes, where survivors gather in fortified Chapters. The Game Master is called the Shadow, while the players take on the role of Nightblood Pilgrims. The Pilgrims are explorers and seekers of Oneiric Matters, and act as intermediaries between the Nightmare Lands and the Wakelands. Thanks to the power diluted in their blood, they have the ability to assume a Dream Form within the Domes and are capable of mastering the arcane forces of Fear and Desire. Bearers of hope, but also bearers of despair, they absorb the Nightmare and end up corrupting the world they swore to protect.

The rulebook is entirely illustrated by Strange House, and the included double map was created by Plastiboo!
