In a forgotten age, on a vanished continent, the Nightmare Realm cruelly thrived. Warlords shared power over barren and arid lands, massive armies of heavily armed soldiers guaranteed a fragile peace under the sky. Everything in this unfortunate world had a sinister aura, fear was the dominant feeling in the heart of every creature.
Today (fortunately!) even the memory of this distant and gloomy world has disappeared. In fact, there are few historical testimonies that have come down to us from that unfortunate dimension: one of these is an audio recording of about 25 minutes, which we at HDK decided to publish in this cassette entitled - of course - "NIGHTMARE REALM". Nothing is known about this arcane music other than the name of the enigmatic author: Dworf.
Inside the cassette you will find an insert with a puzzle game that will allow you to immerse yourself for a moment in the Nightmare Realm, reliving its horrors and cruel challenges. Free from the fears that oppressed the men who lived in that distant era and strengthened by the scientific knowledge that modernity has brought us, we are sure that you will emerge victorious from the clash with the bloodthirsty Lords of the Nightmare Realm.
The graphic concept of this tape is a tribute to one of the most beloved video games for the ZX Spectrum 48K, namely "Lords of Midnight" (1984) by Mike Singleton.
