The Bitter Moon Tarot is a strictly limited edition tarot card deck with 78 original illustrations and interpretations by Berlin based Polish artist Magdalena Piech.
As a fine artist Piech’s interest lies in the exploration of emotion and different mental states through material texture. Her subject matter often involves self portraiture, identity, sado-masochism, symbology and fetishism that she manifests in meticulous graphite / charcoal renderings on paper.
The Bitter Moon Tarot comes in a box designed by Alexandra S. Aderhold and Stefanie Renfert, and also contains a 35 pages introduction booklet written by Piech.
